SHANENAWÁ FESTIVAL 2025
The Festival will take place in the Kenê Merá village and is divided into two parts, the first called RAU XARAHU, where healing activities and ceremonies with local medicines will be carried out. The Second, called XIPI SHANENAWA, focused em cerimonial celebration with medicines and cultural exchanges with other shanenawá villages and from another ́s tribes.
The Festival includes various rituals in different spaces and with different medicines (Ayahuasca, Rapé, Sananga, Kambo, Matxu, and more. Storytelling with the elderly women of the village, natural treatments, baths, traditional games, body painting, energy cleansing and many others in an environment of deep connection with the jungle and nature.
We are organizing a foreigners group, English speaking, with extra support with accommodation and translation of all the activities and experiences of the Festival. We are offering 2 complementary extra days beyond de the festival, with the presence off the Pajés off the Village.
We are very gratefull and inspired to receive you inside of the forest.

(8pm) – Beginning of the Festivity with MATXU, a traditional Shanenawa drink, presentation of the guest groups of TXANÁS.

A Google form will soon be sent for official registration and collection of personal data in order to know the specifics of each visitor. Important to say if you have any dietary restrictions, be clear in the answers.
The exchange value - Rau Xarahu Experience and Xipi Shanenawa Festival:
12 days in the Forest – Package: U$ 3,500.00 – per person.
Method of payment: cash (same amount) or, 50% upon registration and 50% up to 06/30 at the most – all funds will be used to organize the event, therefore advance payment is required.
What is included in the package?
• Reception at Rio Branco Airport – transfer to accommodation
• Accommodation with breakfast in Rio Branco (07/18 and 07/ 30)
• Transfer from Rio Branco to the village – round trip
• 3 meals a day (plus all fruits from the region)
• Wooden lodging house ( It’s a Shared space where all the group will stay)

The landing and boarding airport is the International Airport of Rio Branco – Plácido de Castro.
You should arrive in Rio Branco on 07/18 because the departure for Aldeia will be at 07:00 on 07/19, we will offer accommodation in a partner accommodation. Regarding the return, we suggest that the air ticket be issued for the 07/31, as the journey from the village to Rio Branco takes around 7 hours by road, therefore, it is safer to have a ticket for the 07/ 31, don't worry, we'll offer you another night's accommodation in the same space. If you feel like taking a donation to the village, follow the need items that can contribute to strengthening the community, culture and economic development:

What to take to the Forest:
• Camp Tent (Optional, if you whant mor privacy space. Will you have a Mattress and a Mosquito Net available to you. Therefore its optional we recommend that. If you need some support with that let us know).
Thin sheet, flashlight, sunscreen, anti-allergy, water bottle, repellent, long- sleeved clothing and light long pants, footwear for walking in the forest, hat or cap, no forget your bathing suit for hot afternoons.
• Take your personal hygiene items. (Eco-Friendly please)
• If you want to take special foods from your diet, for individual use, feel free, the food in the village is delicious, traditional and very natural.
• The temperature will be high as it will be the summer period in Acre, consider this information when choosing the clothes you will take.
• Carry some amount of money to purchase handicrafts.
• Our water is drinkable and very good but there are people who prefer to consume bottled mineral water, for this reason, we are going to make the purchase of water available.
