SACRED WORD CEREMONY

In short, we could define the mambeadeiro as a word ceremony. Going a little deeper, we can consider it as the methodological basis for the development of tribal organizations and to this day, as the central element that maintains community connection in many tribes.

Sitting around the fire and sharing the word is considered humanity's oldest medicine. Many traditions around the world make reference to this practice, through which it was possible for humanity to develop knowledge, generate solutions to different problems and transmit the wisdom and experiences acquired, allowing its continuity and improvement over time.

This practice is quite widespread in the Colombian Sierra Nevada, and is currently known and practiced by different tribes in the country. For the case of our study, we are using Spiral IE as a reference, which in turn is based on the ancestral wisdom of the Kogui people.

The Kogui consider themselves human beings of their word, they consider words to be their main medicine and through knowledge and correct use of the word, they create and recreate their culture and their existence in general.

We have a lot that could be said about this incredible ancestral tool, that's why we are creating this space, for now online and with some face-to-face activities so that we can share how to use this tool for individual development, family harmonization and community strengthening.

Initially we will hold weekly meetings, one week in Spanish and the other in English, creating opportunities for a greater number of participants. Each week we will address a different topic, creating a moment of speaking and listening from the heart, weaving the unity of life through the sacred circle of the word of life, a word that encourages, words from the heart. Let's learn more about this fascinating tradition, as well as different techniques and valuable knowledge that can be useful in our daily lives. Whenever possible we will have special guests and we will also have my teacher Jate Kulchavita participating in some meetings.

It will be a great pleasure to share with you. These meetings will be focused on sharing knowledge, creating a space for exchange and listening, as well as strengthening bonds of friendship, brotherhood, family and community. It is a safe space, free from judgement, open to doubts, to not knowing, to being who we are, a space of the heart, thought and realized to learn, heal and grow together.

The meetings will take place every Tuesday, from 7pm to 8:30pm. Costa Rica time. Sessions in Spanish. And from 5 pm to 6:30 pm Sacramento time – Cafifornia / USA

The meetings will have a limit of 10 participants per session, thus guaranteeing the possibility of full participation and welcome of those present, prior confirmation is required to receive the link. Requests can be made via email or Telegram.
